YEARLY CHRISTMAS PARTY

Ronel Brink of Stabiles Productions gave our annual Christmas party with her friends for our children. The children could provide three wishes and all three were given. Each house had it's own Xmas father and tree with lots of treats.

After that the children participated in a "boeresport" handled by TOYOTA MIDRAND with lots of fun!

Lunch was a barbecue with salads and ice-cream for pudding.

The evening before the schools broke up Karee Roads of Pretoria spoiled our children with a lovely supper of steak and boerewors with a mealie-meal dish. Pudding, cold drinks and cream cakes were dished out to the children. At that occasion the children wore the clothes and shoes they provided - too beautiful.

FUNCTION OF ANNEKE ERASMUS AND WALTON'S TZANEEN:

On the 8th of November, Anneke Erasmus and the Rotary group of Tzaneen, came to our Home to do a fun day for all our children. They worked with Kerri - Lee, a representative, from Walton's also in Tzaneen.

The children were divided into groups. They had to paint a flag and they had to create a team cry.

Then they participated in different freak activities to find the winning team.

After a lunch of "vetkoek" and mince with a lot of goodies, the winning team was announced.

Gifts of stationery and clothes were handed out to the children.

The children went back to their houses, tired, but so happy!

FUNCTION OF  LAMPIES LAMPRECHT AND SHAUN TUNA

ON THE 31ST OCTOBER 2009.

Lampies is the chief prosecuter of Soweto and Shaun the owner of a large bakery in Kroonstad.

They decided to reach out to our children. They organised a singer by the name of Elkin Butler who performed for the children and afterwards the children enjoyed a meal of mutton braaied over a spit with salads and bread - a feast of a meal and a first. Ice-cream was the pudding and a child of the Home's dream come true.
